Having used a cabled Wacom Intous 3 graphics tablet trouble free for years, unexpectedly the mouse/pen pointer on the monitor has now become shaky and unstable.
I have tested the tablet on 3 different PCs running XP, Vista and 8.1. and the malfunction happens on all of them.
I have tried upgrading the drivers and searched google for help, but still no joy. The strange thing is that all is stable when the mouse or pen are laying untouched on the tablet, with the wobbling effect appearing when my hand comes into close proximity or touches the mouse or pen.
In a desperate attempt to solve the problem I tried earthing/grounding myself by touch an adjacent central heating radiator, however, I discovered that the wobbling effect was actually even worse. I am now totally stumped!
Any help would be much appreciated.
