Help with SD card

The other day a took my old compact canon with on a bike ride. I used it to format the cards but its magically turned my two 2gb SD cards in to 1gb SD cards. How do I make them 2gb again? Thanks
 
Thank BeerMonster 65, I have and they format it fine. But the camera looks to have simply re partitioned the memory card. However windows appears unable to partitions a memory card. I have gone in to system manage and windows sees the full 2gb memory card however the options to delete or create new partitions are just blanked out. I have tried using my other computer and downloading some free utilities but none allow you to partition SD cards.
