Beautiful colours and I particularly like the water. Captured a great mood and atmosphere.

Someone might say that you could pull out more from the shadows but I think it would then lose its evocative quality. In my eyes it's a picture more than it is a photo.

It is a perch. You can see the dorsal fin above the beak (just right of the blown highlights).
