Was doing some histogram homework and decided to try out what I'd learned, only 4 legged furry models were available to I went to cheese the cats off, as always c and c welcome.

Both tips of the ears are there is #3?

I think #1 is my fav doesn't matter about the crop as the face is lovely and sharp good work.

At the range I was at something had to go in #1 so it was the tip of her ear, my focus was her face tho so I'm not too fussed.

In #3 both her ears are there, I think it's just the black on the very tips blends with the bg?!?! :shrug:

Anyway, yeah maybe a tad more contrast wouldn't hurt but this was an exercise is using the camera histogram and not playing around to much in photoshop.

Also pretty chuffed I got them so sharp as the camera was hand held (1/25 s).

Will have a play with the fill light and blacks later on, ta much as always x
 
Being a total novice at photography I cant comment on your pics, but the cats are absolutely beautiful :)
