I was having a go at Hoverfly In Flight today need to get one with its legs dangling now

Noel I stood near a tree they were going to regular and waited for them to come near, and used manual focus and a bit of patience

I have tried - with me they just sit there until just before I press the trigger - poof gone but only a couple of feet - little teasers

Got to agree with TwentySixDays on this point -- i've tried loads of times to take a photo of they're never in the same place long enough to find, focus, and shoot :/ congrats on getting one xD
