So I've been going through some old photos in lightroom and exporting them to my Mac desktop. From there I have been going to icloud.com and uploading them to my icloud photos library.
The trouble is, icloud sees them as new images so displays them on todays date rather than in the correct sequence of, say, 2016 when they were taken.
What am I doing wrong, and is there a solution? Have tried a couple of cheap metadata apps but they didn't do exactly what I need.
