I did the stupidest thing around 1979 and gave my Canon FTb in exhange for a new more modern SLR (Yashica, can you imagine :bang:). Honestly, I have had regrets over the past 30 years! What a great piece of equipment it was, clumsy and heavy and all manual but it really thought me everything about photography that I have ever needed in hobby photographing.

So, if you know anyone who bought a second hand FTb at 82 Bishopsgate London back in 1979 let me know! I want my baby back :help: Seriously, I would love to buy it back. I'm sure it's still in perfect conditions having been cast in iron and all that.

Would be nice to hear others' comments on the good old warhorse FTb, too.
 
I wish there was a way to find out... many thanks for the hint, just 6 hours to make up my mind on bidding...
 
you could always send them a message and ask them, if not like you say.. 6 hours till bidding

which could mean within 48 hours you mite have one again :)
