Yes, it is a froggy bird, I did see a grey wagtail (more yellow to me) the other day, but the one we see most often is Fairly black and white. I've not seen the cause of all this curfuffle since, So I guess we will never know.
I'm stuck in Paris at the moment, thanks, truck drivers! So I expect all sorts of exciting things are parading around the garden!
Could it possibly be one of these a Citrine Wagtail. They are found in Eastern Europe and Asia but some do venture into the west. I actually saw one at Titchwell a few weeks back.
