idiots guide to shooting teatherd with nikon [D700 in particular]

has to be idiot proof i am rubbish with pooters :bonk:


1,join nikkon support proffesional [not difficult only need a few pro items] and ive found them helpful with other things in the past


2,download free 30 day trial to laptop when they email it to you [you need the update as well for D700 or it dosent recognise the camera]


3,by usb extension cable,i went for £10 3m cable from maplin


4,i have no laptop outdoor cover so found a hula hoops box box is perfect for outdoors screen shading


5,connect camera and have fun


you can alter from the laptop all yout settings,put it on live view etc. than see the pics as you take them...marvelous

has anyone loaded free teatherd shooting programmes as nikon want £186 i think for it?
