Just after the storm has cleared i got into the garden to get some rain effects on the flowers. This is a close up i got with my macro lens, i love how the photo takes you through the different layers of the flower drawing your eyes into the middle.

If you look closely you can see the subtle rain drops on the edges of the petals.

What setup did you use Craig? I cant see EXIF data when I click on the image so unable to offer any advice on why it does look a bit soft, was it a windy day and that was the best out of a bunch because it was blowing all over the place? It could be soft because you were too-close with the lens you used ? As les says, good composition and I do like the colour, dont take the comments as being negative, will try and help where we can :)
