Hi I'm wandering if the IQ is compareble at all between the Canon 24-105 F/4L IS USM and the Canon 18-135 STM lenses. this is not what focal length is better on a crop comparison just IQ please.
It will depend on how/ where you use them. If you use them both stopped down, you may not notice much difference in IQ. I recently bought a Canon 70-200 f4 to upgrade from my 55-250 IS. In every respect the 70-200 is better (apart from lack of IS) but IQ is not the greatest upgrade. There is a lot of talk about better glass having better contrast and colour, but side by side with some of the cheaper lens, its barely noticeable.
Thank you. I would be shooting at F/4 most of the time. I had the 15-85 and i left the aperture to 5.6 on that as I didn't want the exposure to change as I zoomed. I have a 50 1.8 and I only shoot between f1.8 and f4
