2 hour wait till they finally showed up for there nightly mud bath. But well worth the wait to watch them kick up a dust storm.

Excellent shots, Rob. I like the shades of the sparrow (and your photos show that sparrows aren't boring little brown jobs) against the almost monochrome of the soil.

Worth the wait IMO.

Thanks all for the kind words.

Been fascinating watching them do this, they seem to have established a main indent that a chosen few are allowed to use, they almost form a line up to use it. Sitting waiting on a near by bush for there turn. If any up starts jump in and try to use it, they are very rapidly shown the error of there ways. Then there are several smaller indents scattered around the main one that seem to be free to all to use.
