Jessops

This I do not think was ever a Jessops photography outlet, it is now an auction house. I know it is not symmetrical but could not shoot from any other angle. Taken in Batley, nr Bradford with a compact Ricoh GRX It does remind me of Jessops heyday when I was growing up.

I love buildings like this that are part of our social history and have all but disappeared. You have chosen a time when the sky has some interest but I guess you've included what you can without allowing too many distracting elements (like the building on the R) to enter the scene.

As such I shouldn't think you could improve on this shot!

Correct the lower half of the building had people loading cars with antiques and the buildings to the side were not as attractive.

The texture in the sky goes nicely with that of the building, and excluding the detritus of the modern street has made this a nice period shot.
