Just a fly.

Sun was out had a bit of time to kill so decided to get my cheap nasty macro out and see what i could find in the garden, answer was not a lot and when i did it was a bit too windy to get a decent shot. I did get one reasonable shot though which i thought i would share, not really ideal as it was under some tress so the light wasn't great and i couldn't get my tripod any lower for a head on shot.

Sharpened and cropped a bit other than that as per from the camera.

nice one, but it's not just a fly....... it's your fly! try going handheld for a better angle

Hehe tis true tis my fly .

I tried hand held (well mono pod) and my shaking combined with the "breeze" they all turned out pretty naff tbh either half way back on the fly or edge of the leaf in front of it, nothing seemed to work tbh. The fly was pretty patient too, it sat there for ages whilst i clicked away, thank god i wasn't using film, would have been an expensive 15 mins or so lol.
