Just got new lighting equipment, test shots !

Hey all, just got some new lighting equipment, I just done a couple of test shots, go easy as NEVER used this kind of lighting before! lol, what think?

#2 for me, great exposuer on that one and the hair light works well, #2 just looks a tad dark to me for a shot with flash.

For me #1 is the better photograph. Interesting light, whereas in #2 it feels a little flat to me. Also, #1 I think has a more interesting composition/pose. Good job on that!

Well that is a lose connection as I was thinking you had some new lights not just a trigger, Not sure how we will see in your photos the effect of a trigger?

1st shot is my favourite. As already mentioned, the hairlight looks good and adds a bit of dimension. I think the shadows to the right of the 2nd pic are a bit too deep?
