Today was the day that work started on the footbridge, wiping out the perch where I saw the Kingfisher yesterday. In a last minute effort, I got down there early this morning hoping to catch a few images before the work started. The Kingfisher made a few fly-bys, but never stopped on the perch. I did get a visit from this dipper though, which was lovely. It stayed for 2-3 minutes and i got plenty of images. I'm not sure about the bright background but I had to decide between getting close with this background, or staying further away and getting a better background but less detail. I chose this, as it also meant I was better hidden. Thanks for looking!
