Kayaking - Blood Sweat and Tears

Hi all

Never tried any sports stuff before, so had a go at a bit of white water Kayaking took hundreds of shots and still working through them! Not really sure what makes a good shot so tried for the facial expressions. C&C would be very welcome

The water looks freezing, and the facial expressions you've captured enhance that feeling.

Like them. I think you have done really well to capture those facial expressions.

A good set, with plenty of expressions. You have also avoided the huge sin I see in many a kayak shot, the paddle across the face, so thumbs up there too.

I take it these were shot at the Tees Barrage.

Some good shots in there, I think #5 would be the best of the lot. The face is a little dark, personally I'd up the levels a little.

You could try create a descriptive action timeline shot next time
It's good fun!
