Kids under floodlights

Not often posting images these days due to licence restrictions so thought i'd pop up a few from the kids half time entertainment on Friday night at Headingley Stadium during the televised Super League clash

All shot with Nikon D3S, 400mm f/2.8 VR with Nikon 1.4x or Nikon D3S, 70-200mm f/2.8 VR and Kenko 1.4x

Manual, 1/800th, f/4 with auto ISO ranging between 3200-10,000 and -1/3 exposure compensation

Depends on the lights, depends on the background, Headingley has very dark backgrounds so not much colour noise to show up

Thanks, I have shot under floodlights before but with 2.8 lenses and not my 300, I am sure I will have a floodlit game soon to test it.

Is it strange that I looked at number 2 and thought "if that boy doesn't tie his laces soon, he's going to trip up". I fear I may be getting old and becoming......dare I say it..... like my father.

Great shots, could only dream of doing anything with that high an ISO with my current setup.
