Knockhill Motorfair

Some pictures from last weekend when i was at the knockhill motorfair, not that much worth seeing IMO but still got some ok pictures.

It was my first time using my 40D and had trouble getting used to it, i think i could have gotten better pictures with my 400D just from knowing it inside out. Also i couldnt seem to get the white balance right all day so had to change it in lightroom and a couple still arent quite right.

the morgan looks very nice... the back end looks very art deco to me.


out of interest, what were the crowds like, was it busy? thought about going, but decided it would be too crowded...

There all great but number 5 just edges it for me, only because it was my mode of transport to and from the motorfair ( you also got better pics of it than me ) http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=60916
P.s you even got me in the background of the forth pic attempting to grab a few pics in-between maning the morgan stand

#5 Mog is my favourite. Nice angle - suits the lines of the car well.

It was quite busy round the pit area and near the hairpin where there was lots of stalls and stuff but i wasnt really interested in any of that, once you got past the first corner there was nobody there. I walked out to duffus when the supercars were out in the afternoon and there were only 4 or 5 other people there. If i hadnt just got a 40D a couple of days before i probably wouldnt have bothered going there was only a couple of things worth seeing, the rest was quite boring imo.

I agree with that if i had payed £15 to get in i would feel a bit :bang:
