What a beautiful tranquil scene. Would it look any better with the lake horizon in the middle and the reflection perfectly balancing out the hills?

Superb, I like the central horizon on this shot, and it is perfectly exposed, a nice ethereal shot.

Either this, or cropping on the bottom to just below the hill reflection to move the horizon further off the central line.

But in any event, it's a lovely image.

thank you for your comments... cropping more centrally meant losing the cloud at the top but did offer more symmetry over all.. but I think that the hours I spent reading about how compositionality the horizon line should not be in the centre kicked in

The location is Ullswater.. it was the least crowded I have ever seen it
