Has anyone bought direct from them through their website.

I am just wondering what their customer service and delivery to the UK is like.

Buying a lens from them in dollars with the delivery and paying the VAT on delivery still seems to be cheaper than buying from a authorised dealer, who are quoting 2 - 6 weeks delivery.

Don't forget to add on any import duty, that may be due, to the total cost

VAT is not the same as import duty
 
According to the HRMC website, it says that their is no import duty on photographic equipment.

Can you link to that please.

You said you were buying a lens and a lens should invite import/customs duty

For instance if the cost of the lens to you was, say £500, that would incur import/customs duty of £33.50

The calculator I used was incorrect, my apologies

Just used the "Beta" calculator on the Gov.uk website, using the hypothetical amount of £500, and it came up with zero import duty needing to be paid
