Lapwings often appear to be a dull greenish-black and white, but when the light falls on them, the iridescence is marvellous. At Snettisham earlier in the week, the light was beautiful, and this bird stood still long enough for a decent shot. Canon 90D, 100-400 L II 1/125 f13 ISO320
