Late afternoon light on parkhouse hill

After a few weeks of terrible weather and work getting in the way ,I finally managed to get out ,I've been trying to get this shot for while with no luck but yesterday I was blessed with some good light.just wished the light had extended on to parkhouse hill.cheers for looking.

A scene I know well. It's a lovely view and no mistake. Yes, that must have been incredibly frustrating for you ! Did it not come in at all ? I was over on The Roaches and there were some big clouds around, even this late on.

Cheers Chris ,think I have one shot unprocessed at the moment where the light hit the peak but it's not as good as the light in this.the sun dropped behind the left hand ridge after these shots so I headed to ramshaw rocks for sunset

What a great looking spot! It would have been a stunner if the light had fallen on the hill, nicely composed and taken, it's still interesting and a keeper as it is.

Looks like a tremendous place for landscapes and unlucky that you didn't quite get the light you were looking for.

I think it's pretty decent with lovely natural contrast, but had the light fallen on the hill it would be truly spectacular

A fair bit. Needs a bit more hitting the hill but it's a nice image
