I'm hoping someone can give me some advice on ND Grad filters. My problem is this. I have a decent camera (Nikon D800 Teamed with 24-70 F/2.8 and 70-200 F/2.8) and only buy the best accessories I can afford - you wouldn't put re-moulds on an Aston would you?
As it's my 50th this year, my lovely wife is treating me to a couple of days in the lake district so I can take the camera out and shoot some landscapes. I'm hoping to buy an HD Grad kit so that I can really do it justice. I've always been of the opinion that you should buy the best you can afford and Lee, to my mind at least, are the best. I've looked into getting the DSLR Starter Kit and a set of ND Soft Grads and the 77Ø adapter ring but that all comes in at £408.00 and most places are out of stock or more expensive. Looking for alternatives, I came upon the Cokin Z Pro series for well under half the price of the Lee ones. At present the Lee filters are a bit of a stretch, financially speaking, but well worth doing so. However, the Cokin filters from a cost point of view are tempting, but are they a match for the Lee ones?
Questions:
Many thanks.

Questions:
- How do the Cokin's fare in quality of output as opposed to the Lee's?
- Is it worth stretching for the Lee's? i.e. am I likely to be very disappointed with the Cokins having spent a couple of hundred on them?
Many thanks.
