Lightweight but sturdy tripod

That old chestnut, but as the last post on this was last year I thought it wouldn't hurt to revisit.

I'm quite aware that tripods follow the rule of only ever being able to pick two of three criteria, those being:

Sturdy
Lightweight
Inexpensive

I'm looking for one that will partially tick as many as possible!

Needs to pack to 50cm or less, support a 5D size camera and be relatively lightweight.

Any suggestions?
 
What's you're idea of inexpensive?

The Three Legged Thing Adrian is about 1.3kg, folds to less than 50cm and is £150, alternatively Manfrotto do the CX190X Pro, carbon fiber version of the 190X Pro and comes in at around £180.
