Very nicely done Brash , not a easy subject but well worth the effort

Both are super images but No2 has the edge for me Brash.

Not so sure about the angle of the shots though, am guessing that the bird was perched on the top of a pretty high bush, either that or it's on top of a medium sized bush and you are only 2 feet tall.

Thanks but neither. It was on gorse about 3/4 feet high. I was lying lower down in the field where the bush was, with the 800 as low as I could get it on the tripod. Hence the angle
