Little Egret

Can take time fr people to respond Derek. These are cracking shots indeed, how is the Conwy reserve last time i was there it did not exist, ?
 
Third one for me. All nice work, though.

Is there a subtle Gaussian blur layer of soft focus effect on the second one?
 
Good shots and they are always bright birds - especially when you can get the bright yellow feet and the black legs to contrast

white birds are always difficult - "big ones" especially - difficult to get the feather details to stand out because there's a lack of contrast and some feather can be naturally soft

then you start getting into more complicated PP by layering, masking and painting etc.

Cuddy the reserve is not too bad and has a few hides. These though were taken in the cafe. I opened a window and shot out of the side off it.
Gramps I was not over excited it was just that they there was plenty of views and no comments. If your going to look at images you may as well post a comment
(good or bad) that way we all learn to get better.
