Wild Local barn owl

After numerous visits recently I was worried that something had happened to the Barn owl after not seeing it hunting, today I made a point (after recent bad weather) to get to the site well before first light, and at around 7.30am I got my first sighting of the bird, that alone was enough to make me leave happy, I watched a successful hunt when he then perched up but around 8.00am he came my way to allow me to get a shot ,taken with the 300mm f4 ISO 1600 1/320 sec ,not my best Barn owl shot in the best light I know but just so pleased to spot him.Barn owl (1 of 1)-3 by den9112, on Flickr
