Lone Tree

Built on the site of the old shipyards, mouth of the river wear, Sunderland.

This "tree" is just a couple of miles from my home home and I've seen it many times.

This is the best photo I've seen of it. I'd be very interested to know how it was lit : I have an idea but I'd rather not risk showing my ignorance on here!

All natural light from the street lights behind me by the glass centre. 4 minute exposure and a bit of tweaking in photoshop Ged. I tried to light it using my lenser torch but it turned out abysmal.
