Messy backgrounds James ........ maybe it's the noise coming through and the extreme shadows and highlights do not do the image any favours

Just my opinion maybe influenced by the fact that I don't like LTT's

Thanks, going for something a bit different to the usual smooth bg taxidermy type bird shots (which can be nice too, I have these in my photostream as well) is always going to upset some

I find these hard to get as they are so jittery, well done.

Busy backgrounds but they have a lot of atmosphere and show the habitat well. So a thumbs-up from me.

I just find them "out of proportion" - head and beak ............. just my view ..................most birds I find attractive ....... LTT's I'm never sure of
