Mind me asking what your set up was? How did you manage to get it so clear and concise?

New to macro and learning all the time!
 
That's a cracking shot John... .. focus and DOF is excellent... ... same as Tessa, mind sharing your setup please? I normally use a Sigma 105 macro lens for my close up stuff, so just wondered what you're using?

This was set up ;) The dark yellow where the pebbles overlap is honey, just a shallow baking tray with water, moss , pebbles and honey was placed near ants nest and then it's just a waiting game, I used Nikon 105mm micro with 12+20mm tubes , Handheld using flash, as the tray was on the ground i was able to lay prone and rest my elbows on the ground (y)
