Lotherton Birds

Paid a visit to Lotherton Hall today and these are some of the shots taken of the birds there.

Looks like you had harsh lights as parts of the whites are blown.

Th ibis is a dramatic bird and even more so in this pose against the empty sky. Nice catchlight in its eye.

Your Carolina Duck makes the mandarin look positively dull! He looks rather soft in the face and as if the focus was on the wing.


The Grey Crane looks good to my eye, that red eye is most striking

I believe the correct term for Grey Crane is Demoiselle Crane.

like the ibis you have done well with the whites, the focus is off though on the second one but the colours of this duck are just wonderful

#1 that is one funny looking bird, greta job in holding all the details in the white feathers. #2 looks like we both got to see one of these today, they are stunning. #3 cracking image really like all the shades of grey on the back and the eye is just spot on.
