M42 lenses on Canon 450D

anyone doing this , just fancied having a go , seems like a cheap way of getting a manual aperture lens to go with some cheap extension tubes , worth bothering or not ??

Use them regularly on my 350D and you should have no trouble on the 450D,its a good way to get cheap but fast prime lenses

It should work, certainly Pentak K mount lens work ok (I tried that) although obviously you don't get all the auto functions. You can probably get ann addaptor of ebay or somewhere.

You can get adapters from Ebay or Amazon, 7Day shop probably do them too, I use several M42 lenses on my EOS cameras, some very good cheap glass about.
