Magpie

Magpies are one bird that I cannot get a good photo of. They seem very cautious around our houses and don't stay still for long.
Your photo is nice and sharp and it looks like the magpie knows it's being photographed!
The thing I'm after capturing is the blue/black sheen on the main feathers.

Thanks mbscad. This bird was not shy at all. Its main source of food seemed to be the bugs from the front of visitors cars in the car park. It spent ages feeding as the photo below shows. Apologies for the the quality, just wanted to capture the moment.
