Popped up to Slimbridge today to try to dodge the showers as a little group of Pintails had made an appearance on one of the lakes and wanted to test the new lens. These are a very smart looking bird and remind me of someone in a snazzy new suit

Ha, yes Russ ... I think it's the sleek, silvery markings, reminds me of a mohair suit and with a nice white shirt down the front ... well thoughts do wander in a cold, dreary hide
