Marmite shot - 'Big Cloud'

fantastic atmospheric shot Andy, thecloud is brilliant..................not sure about foregound twig bits, worth cloning out ?
 
I too thought at first about the twigs but the light catching them especially bottom right is fantastic IMO and adds to it hugely, along with the shadow in field.

Would agree that the vignetting doesn't add much to this shot, although I'm not an out an out vignette-hater. Personally, I'd consider cropping out the tops of the branches in the immediate foreground as well.

Nice cloud though :D
 
Superb. Happy with twigs bottom right, they fit in nicely. Not so happy with those at the bottom in the left half of the shot.
 
It's a stunning shot and a very good example of why the image can be much more important than how perfect a photo is technically - I don't even see it being "scruffy" or having "faults" as you have said - I see an image with impact and which is evocative. This is a very important aspect of photography in my opinion - Simply evocative communication.
