really good detail in natural light ...... and the shape of the wings is well captured

It has been very overcast and dull out here for the last week - hardly worth getting the camera out - annoying
 
Fantastic capture of a fairly elusive bird, great framing (imo), and just the right amount of blur on the wing tips with the rest of the bird pin sharp.

Fabulous shot, lovey light, detail and I also like the wings position. I hope to go to Leighton Moss on Friday where Marsh Harriers also reside......but you can bet I won't get anything like this shot!

Really top shooting Kev, I have distant shots of Marsh Harriers nothing compared to this :)
 
Beautiful capture and composition. Sometimes I think that having 'flat' light is a good thing, as it is in this case.
