George

ps. yes, I did get a ride and it was epic

Nice pics and much better for being a more reasonable size. The orange/red colour seems a bit over saturated though in 3,4 & 5. It looks great in the first two. (y)

Nice pics in that size and didn't take long to load for me. I agree with Darren about the red looking oversaturated on the latter pics.

Nice set, but I think the last 2 really are in a class of their own! (y) I agree a bit with the saturation of the reds too, but it's only a minor niggle.

In George's defence: It's flouro pink and an absolute nightmare to represent correctly, I've photos of the car in different light and it looks completely different.

Start line pic is head and shoulders above the rest.

They've changed the max size from 800 to 1024??? Really? When? What brought this on as it was always a big no-no? Pics look much better this size, I must admit... good move.

Absolutely love the last two, don't mind the oversat. I think they'll print better like that, poster style (y)

It's called building suspense ;)

dont forget that some folk will simply ignore the thread if the images take too long to load, which is why we have a limit on how many images. not everyone is on fast broadband, despite what the media may tell us

Very nice additions. Lovely car and I like the composition of pretty much all of them (y)

Shot number 5 from the first set does it for me :woot:

Nice sets though. (y)

Stunning car, great set of pics, you've done this before!

The start line pic is my personal fav

Thanks for the kind and critical words everyone :)

I've gone through most of the set and sorted out the colour so that it is a lot more consistant...

It wasn't a dig George, as I appreciate how difficult that colour is to get spot on each time. There's a MK2 Escort that does rallying painted in dayglo orange and every picture I have taken of it over the years is different.

It is certainly one of the hardest coloured cars I've photographed. The only harder thing I can think of is the Chrome GT-R that Dean shot (bloody well:LOL:)

It's just one of those things that you have to deal with. If you light it up a bit to much it becomes orangey!

absolutly amazing! my all time favourite car, infact i based my dissertation project around it and replicated this LARK livery for some of my final proposals.

excuse my ignorance but how did you get the opportunity to shoot this? was it a shoot that the owner commissioned?

The owner contacted me about something else and mentioned that he'd just got the F1. I immediately responded asking if I could shoot it. He liked my portfolio and said yes but wanted to do it at a good location. We tried to get on track at Goodwood motor circuit but I couldn't make the date that they gave us so we ended up where we were.

Once you're in with the crowd of owners it becomes easier... Good luck getting in with the owners though ;)
