Messing Around in the Home Studio...

Took this pic of my other halfs daughter yesterday, there is something about it I really like, feedback on lighting etc greatly appreciated.

Not my cup of tea I'm afraid, a bit more light directed at the face would lift it, no highlight in the eye does not help.

Hair and left shoulder look slightly to bright compared to the rest of the image which leads the attention away from the face.

I like it like EdBray says could have done with some catch lights , I take it you had your main light to the photographers right and a fill light to the photographers left??

Thanks for the feedback, agree with the catch lights comments and may try to add some in in PS.

The main light was to my right and 2nd to my left.

She was standing closer to me than would be usual and the lights were almost at the side of her hence the lack of catch lights.

Oh and just to be picky her strap is twisted can you not grab her again to do another shoot
