Hi all

Mia is now recall trained, I met up with the in-laws and tried to get some shots of her in training/play.

Weather and light was always changing, between rain and evening sun coming through the clouds.

Settings around 1/800 - 1/1250 , f4 - 8 , ISO 1000 - 12600

5D IV - EF 70-200mm F4

Thank you for looking

C&C welcome as always

The Cockers and Springers are such beautiful gentle dogs, do you intend to work her or is she just a pet ?

The In-laws are torn, 'Mum' wants a pet, 'Dad' wants to have her as a working dog, time will tell...
Lovely set - can't resist a Spanner. Flapometers were working well :D
Thank you, she was a test  the flaps were alive! :D

Those are great Gav.

Hard to pick fav tbh.

I do like the Father in law at the back image. I guess I shouldn't as it's all about the dog but with Mia lurching right forwards it seems to add lot's of impact to me.

Nice set, Gav (y)
I also have a Springer but he's Black & White.
Brilliant dogs and relatively easy to train.
I've mostly had bitches in the past as I find them less head strong than dogs.
Bracken seems to be the exception to the rule as he's been amazing from day 1.

Thank you, Mike :)

They are special dogs, live wired and full of beans!

They're all lovely pictures. No.4 made me smile the widest :D Well done Gav :D

Great photos, you really have captured the essence of the spaniel, determined, athletic and dedicated amongst other things. Oh yes, and I can just about see laser beams coming out of her eyes for the ball!!

Thank you, she is just chaos on legs

Some good one's in there Gav. Did you use treats to get her to do what you wanted?
