Good bit of messing! What size is the original? Could make a seriously good picture; not that it isn't already but you are probably only a short distance away from a classic. You need clouds in the background somehere to add more depth and think the red in the lower left could be tamed slightly or colour shifted slightly. very exciting stuff there mate!

Well the hands are two sides of the same one I bought in Lidl this afternoon. I rotated the original shots then masked and copied each hand, pasted into a new image as objects (my software refers to objects much as PS does layers I think). Messed around with some of the filtering options on the background and voila!
Himupnorth you're right, it needs something more than a plain background, there's so much leeway to play with this subject I'll have another go tomorrow.
