Mid Hants Railway August Bank Holiday inc Tornado!

I spent the entire bank holiday down at my local railway, the Mid Hants. As I'm taking a break over the winter I thought it would be a fitting last outing for my camera before that goes off to a new owner next week.

Tornado has been at the Mid Hants for the last two weekends on regular passenger services which was great to see.

The other big highlight of the weekend as Vulcan XH558 going over the railway on both the Sunday and Monday.

I got a few snaps of that on Sunday but nothing special. Was just lovely seeing her flying

Nope they are brand new and up to date

She has been running now for a few weeks which is good to see

All of these were taken with a 70-200F2.8 L series zoom lens. It really does produce some lovely images.

Very nice, I know that crossing well!! Shame that Tornado was facing in the other direction as it was at the spring Gala.
