Mid Wales Stages 2016 - Pikes Peak

Touch and go whether I was going to venture over to this, having seen the reports from the competitors and their recces on the Friday! If those were the reported conditions, the spectator access roads would have been impossible... especially with more snow forecast.

However, having already booked accommodation for the Saturday night, I figured late in the morning, "What the hell?" and headed over for the 10 hour round trip.

Having made the effort, I'm glad I did and thought I'd further that effort, and post some photos here.

I'm aware that this is one of those "marmite", contentious issues. I guess I've kinda got locked into the compulsion to try and add a further dynamic tho'. Next time I'm out I'll try and address this aspect and mix it up a little more.
