Yes
Went out and bought a bird feeder today and rigged it up on a tree outside my bedroom window - almost at eye level to where I live on the first floor of my flat, and only about 10 feet from my camera mounted on tripod - great distance for the reach of my 70-300mm Sigma lens.

After about a half-hour a couple of thrushes came flapping around, sat on a branch and walked on the lawn, but I think they were too big for getting at the peanuts in the feeder. Nevertheless, my mission was accomplished! :naughty:

Bottom one is certainly a Mistle Thrush and I'm 90% sure that the other two are also Mistle thrushes. (If it's the same bird then I'll go 10% higher than 90% sure!!!)

Yeh, all Mistle Thrushes. Songs have more pointed spots all over their breast, the Mistle's are rounded, going pointed up the neck. Nice shots too(y)
