More Barn Owl shots

Making hay while the sun shines (not that it has done much this week!)...

All taken with a Canon 50D, 500mm F4 IS + 1.4TC, tripod-mounted, at a local site in the West Midlands.

Processed via Raw Therapee, into TIFF, then Elements to JPG. Most have been cropped (slightly), sharpened and had a run through Neat Image.

A beautiful series of this bird, they are all very nice but No 3 just edges it for me, its the dark BG that lifts the Raptor out in the image.

Pics are all great mate but im not a fan of the wacky crops try and maintain the aspect ratio if you can (and yeah i know its my personal opinion but if you print em the frames wont fit lol )

I'd have to rework the originals to print them, as all my pics are edited for web display. Crops work for me, so that's all that matters
