All taken with a Canon 50D, 500mm F4 IS + 1.4TC, tripod-mounted, at a local site in the West Midlands.

Processed via Raw Therapee, into TIFF, then Elements to JPG. Most have been cropped (slightly), sharpened and had a run through Neat Image.

Great captures Pete, agree with Ken torn between No2 & No3 but think No3 has the edge. Beautiful detail in both.

fantastic set of shots, number 2 is outstanding.

Number 2 is a cracker, lovely lghting! I'd be tempted to clone out the dark splodge to the left of the birds head.

Would love to see more B Owls around here. Nice work and yes I'm a little jealous!

A beautiful series of this bird, they are all very nice but No 3 just edges it for me, its the dark BG that lifts the Raptor out in the image.

Best regards Paul

Very nice shots of a difficult thing to focus on. Would be nice to see them bigger in the frame, but as always more reach means more money :(

Well done.

Martin.

All good, but the seond is an absolute peach, gorgeous light and good use of empty space.
