Here's 8 of the 13 portraits I took last night in between live music sets, rest on flickr.
I like portraits, and I want to shoot portraits more, I just needs to keep practicing and learning from what I do.
Here I have shot wide open, because I typically like the look and wanted to see the output I'd get. With no eye autofocus it's very trial and error, and I picked a couple of images out of the set for expression and not perfect eye focus. Typically had a couple of minutes and took an average 6 photos per person.
There is a kind warmth from every person in this set.
