Hi all

just got CS6 & been playing....with the help of a Gavin Hoey tutorial I tried the effect on one of my 52 shots....not really the right shot to use it on so dug out a shot from last year & came up with this....

Not perfect...need to refine my technique for bringing in the dust but generally happy with how it's turned out :)

I saw a shot on here a while back & fancied trying it.......I'm learning quickly that You Tube is an invaluable source of tutorials , Gavin Hoey does make things so simple that even I can follow them :)

yes thats how im self-teaching myself Lightroom 5 at the moment.. lol
 
You picked a good subject matte here.

Well done fie trying a new technique. Overall, a good start. Just the dust, as you long out, need a bit of work on. I'd tray a soft brush.

Great first try. I also followed Gavin's video for this along with everything else. I always end up coming to his videos when I try something new.

My only crit would be the dust towards the left. It's hard and I know that myself because to be honest I couldn't do any better lol.
