so what do you all think?

i still need to practice with all the shutter and apature settings as this is the first time i have had to play about with these options.

Hi and welcome

Interesting first series of shots, I see you have a car ;)

You obviously have some exposure issues with the first two shots, the way the street lights and car headlights are blown out. Try avoiding close to street lights and stick a filter on the lens to reduce the exposer for the moving lights.

Number three is interesting. How to turn a snap of your car into something different:

Cropped and given some USM sharpening. Hope you like the idea :)

i would check the pollen filter cover, the water always comes in there..

lol! or through the rear lights!
This site helped me a lot!

Have a read through.

cheers guys,

wet sparks - that does look better i must admit.

pollen filter?? on a camera??

do i know you praxis and matty???

The first two are awesome, love the star effect you've got on the motorway lights - it complements the traces of headlights really well

I pointed you here from MEG! Matty, if I remember correctly started the photography section on MEG!

ah right, i remember now.

what sort of photographer do i want to be, hmmm, not really sure yet. wildlife doesnt really interest me that much, but i do like landscape's and close-ups.
