My second rally and first time at Epynt, what an event! I make absolutely no apologies for the amount of jump shots here, that's what I went to see and what I wanted to try and photograph. I was torn between attempting my usual 1/30 - 1/60 sort of style or getting nice clean sharp jump shots, I ended up somewhere in the middle most of the time...

A shorter lens is definitely needed! For most of the day I couldn't get far enough away without someone then standing in my shot-line.

Really enjoying dipping my toe into rallying though, an 80-200 AF-S would make it even more enjoyable (just need a lotto win)
 
One of the better rallying sets I've seen on here for a while, great variety and some interesting some shots. :clap: A few comments on the ones I liked...

#1 Very nicely panned and unusual angle.

#2 Interesting arty shot and good B&W conversion, but can't help but feel theres just that something missing (action?)

#3 Love the car, and nicely caught! (y)

#6 Superb panning :clap: and light on the car, just a little hard to tell the car is jumping, can't see the road?

pic 3 is superb, allways had a soft spot for corolla wrc's. a good set all round

It jumped out at me as soon as I browsed through, it's a bit odd, almost looks like it's had some Photoshop blur added (particuarly the wheels) but it's straight from the camera.
 
All great pics - but love the wider angle shot of #2. :clap:

Nice shots, fav is #2, #6 is good too pity there is no road to tell how high he got the Escort up, will need to make the effort to get to the Jim Clark event this year.
