I don't wish to appear hurtful but the majority of those are truly dreadful.

Largely speaking, it's the kit that you are using.

You are trying to replicate sports images that were taken by people with thousands of pounds worth of kit.

What you need to do is go for shots that your kit can deliver.

That means coping with a low shutter speed (due to poorish high ISO capability), lack of zoom and widish aperture.

In short, you need to get creative.

You were on the right track with the first shot but then decided to go tighter.

Stay wide, go for light effects and crowd shots.
